About VBS
Learn about the Vendors Business School program and our mission to empower QC market vendors
Our Mission
To provide accessible, high-quality business education and training to public market and hawker site vendors across Quezon City, equipping them with the skills and knowledge needed to grow sustainable and profitable businesses.
Our Vision
A Quezon City where every market vendor is empowered with modern business skills, contributing to a vibrant local economy and improved quality of life for vendor families and the communities they serve.
Our Story
The Vendors Business School was born from a simple observation: the thousands of hardworking vendors in Quezon City's public markets and hawker sites possess incredible entrepreneurial spirit, but often lack access to formal business training.
Launched by the Market Development and Administration Department (MDAD) of Quezon City, VBS bridges this gap by delivering structured, multi-level training programs directly where vendors operate — in markets and community venues across all six legislative districts.
From basic bookkeeping to advanced digital marketing strategies, VBS courses are designed to be practical, accessible, and immediately applicable to daily vendor operations. Our post-graduation mentorship ensures that learning translates into lasting business improvements.
